Mrs. Dorothy Dell Holder January 24, 1946 – August 25, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guestbook| Memorial Donation SERVICES: Tuesday, August 27, 2019 McLain Church of God 11:00 a.m. INTERMENT: Davis Cemetery VISITATION: Monday, August 26, 2019 McLain Church of God Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2019 for Mrs. Dorothy Dell Holder, age 73, of Leakesville, at McLain Church of God. Mrs. Holder passed away on August 25, 2019 at her residence. Bro. Lewis Maples, Bro. Shane Giles and Bro. Wendall Stork will officiate with burial to follow in Davis Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Logan Moss, Lucas Smith, James Davis, Torrie Smith, Kinnith Jenkins, Jamie Davis and Russell Smith as an alternate. Mrs. Holder was preceded in death by her parents, Morris Eugene and Minerva Cunningham; sisters, Frances Thibodeaux, Cynthia Bernard, Priscilla, Martha Sylvery; brothers, Cecil Cunningham; grandson, Nathan Holder. Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Tammy (David) Woods, Hope (Stance) Phillips, sons, Franklin (Pam) Holder, Daniel (Channing) Holder; brother, Edward Cunningham; sister, Addis (Charlie) Weaver; grandchildren, Victoria (Logan) Moss, Olivia (Lucas) Smith, Dakota and Joshua Forehand, Austin, Zachary and Georgie Holder, Nevaeh Grace Holder; great-grandchildren, Avery Grace, Lauren Elizabeth, James Bently, Savannah Grace, Brayden Eliyah, Aniston Kory, Gabby Brooks, Madilyn Blakely and Carolina Ivy. Mrs. Holder was a long-time member of McLain Church of God. She drove a bus for 10 years and worked in the cafeteria at Escatawpa for 8 years. Later in life, she worked in a personal care facility.
