Donald William Cole, age 50, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2019 in Portland, Oregon. He was born on March 10, 1969, in Chicago, Illinois. Donald enjoyed lots of activities, trying new things, and making memories. He truly lived to enjoy life. He had the ability to light up a room with his presence and entertain everyone around him. He had the most contagious laugh; he was a jokester, advice giver, and a man with heartfelt intentions. He truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family; cooking for family gatherings and filling his home with laughter and memories. Don had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way everywhere he went. No matter the situation he was a man who poured his heart and soul into everything he did and into everyone around him. After his service in the United States Military, Don made his way to Maui, Hawaii where he met the love of his life and from there they relocated to Portland, Oregon where he worked as Chief Engineer for Atrium Hospitality. Don made it a point to master every job and every position he held but his true calling and position was lover, father, and a friend. What Don enjoyed and loved the most was his family. Donald’s legacy and life will be forever cherished. Don is survived by his fiancé; Tera Anderson; son, Anton Cole and Billie Garrido (spouse);Daughter; Estee Cole and Tyler Wambold (spouse); Kapriella and Anaiyah (grandchildren); Zoe McChesney (step-daughter). Donald is also survived by numerous family members, friends and co-workers in Illinois, Hawaii, and Oregon.
