Donald’s Obituary Donald R. “Tiny” Fillmore, 78, of South Bend, died on August 4, 2019. He was born on February 28, 1941 in South Bend to Roy Grant and Betty (Singleton) Fillmore. Tiny served his country honorably in the United States Army and on June 28, 1969, Tiny married Beverly Vance. He enjoyed bowling, riding his motorcycle, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family and grandchildren. Tiny is survived by his wife of 50 years, Beverly; his children, Babette (Bob) Zielinski of South Bend, Theron Fillmore of Johnsonville, New York, Donald Fillmore, Jr. of South Bend, and Chris Fillmore of Mishawaka; six grandchildren, David and Ashley Simpson, Cooper, Rhea, Sierra, and Aubry Fillmore; six great-grandchildren, Trent Simpson, Carter and Maia Miller, Hayden, Chipps, and Analeah Fillmore; and his siblings, Kay (Jack) Middleton, Jeannie (Vance) Warren, Rod (Elizabeth) Fillmore, and Duke (Margaret) Fillmore. Tiny was preceded in death by his Parents; his sister, June Modlin. Friends and family will be received on Friday, August 9, 2019 from 1-2 PM in the Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN 46561 with a funeral service in Tiny’s honor beginning at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 130 Red Coach Drive, Mishawaka, IN 46545. Read More
