Donald served in the Marine Corp for 8 years, as well as dozens of years with La-z-boy and Flexsteel Industries. He enjoyed cooking his “little burgers”, and maintaining a beautiful yard. He loved his family with all his heart, especially coloring with his granddaughter, Sadie. He will be greatly missed. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Volkenant-Meurer; sons, Devin and Dustin (Kaitlin) Meurer; and granddaughter, Sadie Meurer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Betty Meurer.
