Dominic Albert Bildilli, 87, of Danville passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at OSF Sacred Heart in Danville. Per his wishes, he will be cremated with private family services at a later date. Dominic was born June 24, 1932 to Charles A. and Barbara (Giovanini) Bildilli Sr. in Bunsenville, Illinois. He graduated from Georgetown High School in 1950. Following high school, he served for the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was employed at General Motors for 40 years as a machinist. On February 12, 1956, he married Beverly Ann Pearman in Indianola Illinois. They recently celebrated 63 years together. Survivors include his wife; a daughter: Pamela (Kim) Linne; a son: Steven (Jeanie) Dominic Bildilli; 11 grandchildren: Allison (Brad) Fleeharty, Aimee (Jay) Miller, Andrew (Jodie) Linne, Ashley (Ryan) Taylor, Ryan Bildilli, Kelsey Dudley, Paul (Courtney) Hannon, Jeremy (Brittany) Hannon, Dusty (Jamie) Hannon, and Joseph Plunkett; 31 Great-Grandchildren: Alec, Julia, Gavin, Austin, Joel, Van, August, Kimber, Hunter, Coulter, Anna Bella, Sierra, John, Bailey, Lexi, Ryder, Tucker, Savanna, Maddux, Addison, Charlotte, Carter, Ciera, Kaden, Payton, Laurel, Ethan, Damon, Everett IV, Autumn, and Bentley; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Charles (MaryHelen) Bildilli; great nephew Blake Charles Hawkins; his father & mother in-law Charles and Lorena Pearman; and a brother-in-law: Charles L. Pearman. Dominic’s favorite place of all time would be Daytona Beach, FL. He & Beverly traveled there for many years, spending the winters there. Throughout his lifetime, Dominic enjoyed coaching baseball for all of the local kids, as it was his favorite pastime, as well as trying to straighten out the St. Louis Cardinals. He enjoyed planning family parties and get-togethers. His family and friends were always very important to him and he enjoyed visiting with them.
