Dolores N. (Mascette) Nicolini, 90, of Solvay, passed away Wednesday at St. Camillus. She was born in Solvay to the late Joseph and Mary (Ranieri) Mascette, Christmas Day in 1928. Dolores was a graduate of Solvay High School and lifelong resident of Solvay. She worked for the Village of Solvay in the offices at Village Hall for many years before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Marianne Cope Parish-St. Cecilia Church, a member of its Altar and Rosary Society and the Solvay Tigers Auxiliary. Dolores was predeceased by her husband, Renato, in 1969 her sister, Rose Monti and her brothers Zinzi, Paul, Leonard, and Mike Mascette. She is survived by 2 daughters; Karen (Anthony) Romano, of Solvay and Joanne Nicolini, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, her son; Richard NIcolini, of Huntersville, NC, 9 grandchildren; Joey, Anthony and Janel Nicolini, Gianna and Giordano Romano, Gabriela, ‘Yaro’, ‘Boo’ and ‘Chetta’ Nieves, a great-grandson; Jett, nieces; Elaine Cardone, Christine Sandness, Susan Brandt and Alice Mascette and many great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 9:30 am Monday at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt. Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 pm Sunday at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Avenue.
