Dolores’ Obituary Dolores Joan Hendrickson, 75, of Denton, TX passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019, in Denton, TX. She was born in Chicago, IL on September 7, 1943. She graduated from Good Counsel High School, located on the North side of Chicago. Dolores was best known for her generosity of loyal love towards family and friends. She easily could be found writing letters or greeting cards to send and lift others spirits. She was also known for her sharp intelligence and fierce determination. She was an advocate for her family, whom she cared for deeply. A hard-working woman, she provided for her loved ones and kept them at the center of her life. Dolores worked for Judge & Dolph (Wirtz Corporation) and as a legal secretary for the Cook County Public Defenders Office prior to her retirement. Dolores is the beloved wife and childhood sweetheart of Frank R. Hendrickson. They were married for 56 years. She is the loving mother of Denise and her husband Thomas MacCormack of Wheeling, IL, and Michele and husband Mark Douglass of Park Ridge, IL. She is the cherished sister of Theresa Stack of Schaumburg, IL. She was predeceased by her sisters Shirley Jones and Darlene Stack. She is the proud grandmother of Sharon and husband David Sabol of Nashville, TN, Winston Douglass of Greenfield, WI, and Julian Douglass of Park Ridge, IL. She is the proud great grandmother of Aiden Sabol of Nashville, TN along with many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a great, great niece with another great grandson on the way. The visitation will be held at DeBerry Funeral Directors, 2025 W. University Drive, Denton, TX 76201, on Friday, August 23, 2019, from. 1:30p.m. to 3:00p.m. The memorial service will begin at 3:00p.m. in the chapel of the DeBerry Funeral Directors following the visitation.
