Deborah Ruth Klankey, age 66 of Brookport, Illinois passed away at 1:49 pm on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at the Metropolis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, September 1, 2019 at Otterbein Cemetery in Pope County with Jackie Scarborough officiating. Deborah is survived by her husband, Gary Klankey; children, Sean Ellis, Suzanne Craig, Calvin McDaniel, Christopher McDaniel and wife Kristi; grandchildren, Haleigh, Courtney, Dawson, Tyler, Remington, Sarah, and Presley; 4 great grandchildren; brothers, Billy Don Hodge, Billy Hodge, Craig Hodge, Ricky Hodge, and Jerry Simpson; sister, Kathy Jones; several nieces and nephews. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Billy Hodge and Thelma Simpson; grandson, Brett McDaniel. There will not be any visitation. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Miller-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home.
