David G. Poole passed from this life on July 31, 2019. He was born on October 23, 1948 in Warren, AR to Clarence and Lola Poole. David served our country honorably in the United States Marine Corp. David was awarded the Purple Heart, as well as many other service medals for valor during his service with the Vietnam War. David was disabled as a result of this service, but was very proud of being a United States Marine. David attended the First Assembly of God Church, loved to fish and hunt, and spend time with family and friends. David is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Lola Mae Vines Poole; maternal grandparents, William L. “Will” Vines and Hettie Gorman Vines; paternal grandparents, Fred L. Poole and Sarah Theodocie “Docie” Langston Poole; two brothers, Albert D. Poole and Willie C. Poole; one sister, Bessie Loraine Poole; along with several nieces and nephews. David is survived by his son, Kerri Glen Poole; daughter, Kellie Poole Stacy both of Crossett; two granddaughters, Ashley Clark and Devan White and three great-grandchildren. Also left to cherish his memory is his brother, Nolan (Penny) Poole of Morrilton, AR; three sisters, Sara (Joe) Battaglia of Crossett, AR; Jean (Bill) Helmer of Fayetteville, AR; Nora (Larry) Johnson of Rosebud, AR; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Graveside services will be held on Sunday August 4, 2019 at Pinewood Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held Saturday August 3, 2019 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
