W. Dale Hendershot, 63, of Lowell, died August 20, 2019 in Morgantown, WV, following medical complications. He was born on October 8, 1955 in Marietta, to Wilbert Carl and Mariam Walters Hendershot. Dale graduated from Marietta High School in 1975. He worked for Richardson Printing for 30 years. Dale enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting, craft shows and NASCAR. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Michele Doan Hendershot; children, Joshua Hendershot (Angie) and Tessa DeNune (AJ); grandchildren, Hailey, Taylor, Addison, Aubry and Leeya; step grandchildren, Madison, Bentley and Mollie “Hippie”; brother, Harold Hendershot (Erma Jean); sisters, Martha Haught (Mike) and Alice Greene (Bill); and sister in law, Connie Hendershot. He was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Hendershot. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 23, at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home.
