Cameron Wilkes, 29, of Southern Sky Street of Carlsbad, New Mexico passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019. Visitation will be Friday, August 23, 2019, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, August 24, 2019, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Rogers officiating. Interment will follow at Carlsbad Cemetery Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Cameron was born on May 29, 1990, in Arlington, Texas. He graduated from Monterey High School in 2008. He worked for Expert Analysis, where he loved his job and coworkers. Cameron was a kind and loving person, who enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. His pride and joy was his beautiful four-year-old daughter, Harper. Cameron will be dearly missed and never forgotten. Cameron is survived by his wife, Lindsey Walker of Carlsbad, NM; daughter, Harper Ava Wilkes of Carlsbad, NM; parents, Scott and Gaye Wilkes of Allen Texas; brother, Matthew Wilkes of Lubbock, TX; paternal grandparents, Robert and Barbara Wilkes of Fairview, TX; maternal grandparents, Gary and Christina Walker of Carlsbad, NM; and uncles, nephew, nieces, and cousins.
