Nicholson, Buddy Frank, age 79, passed away at The Residence at Alive Hospice on August 14, 2019. Buddy was born on April 18, 1940, in Ashland City, TN, to Sydney and Mary Ruth Hunter Nicholson. Buddy was a member of the Ashland City High School Class of 1958. He served in the National Guard from 1959-1962 and the National Guard Reserves from 1962-1965. He worked as a supervisor/ steel erector at Buckland Building Systems. He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Fred Allen Nicholson; and a sister, Sylvia Close. He is survived by his wife, Ginger Nicholson; brothers, Harris (Pat) Nicholson and Kay (Janet) Nicholson; sons, Terrill (Melanie) Nicholson and Jarett (Amy) Nicholson; four grandchildren, Connor Nicholson, Hayley Nicholson, Preston Nicholson and Payton Nicholson. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 17, 2019, at 5pm in the chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Johnny Melton officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, August 17, 2019, from 2pm until service hour of 5pm.
