Bobby Lee Williamson, 94, died Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at Regency Hospital, Florence. Mr. Williamson was born on April 19, 1925 in Cades, son of the late John Frierson Williamson and Eula Mae Padgett. He was a graduate of Hebron High School and Coyne Electrical School in Chicago, IL. Mr. Williamson was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Europeon Threatre during World War II. He was retired from CSX Railroad and was a member of Lake City First Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Betty T. Williamson of Pineville; sons, Robert Williamson of Palm Harbor, FL and Richard Williamson of Lake City; daughters, Wanda W. (David) Williams of Wesley Chapel, FL and Gloria W. (Marion) Amerson of Lamar; three grandchildren; two step grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; six step great grandchildren; one great great-granddaughter. Mr. Williamson was preceded in death by his brothers, Clifton, Duva, Vernol and McIver; and a sister, Parnice Smith. Private services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Belle Isle Presbyterian, 3457 Hwy, 45, PO Box 175, Pineville, SC 29468.
