Bernard’s Obituary Bernard D. Atkins passed away on Thursday August 15, 2019 at home. He was born on December 06, 1964, to the Late Willie John and Willie Mae Atkins Sr. He was the Seventh Child of seven Children. He accepted Christ at an early age. He was a member at Zion Hill Baptist church, in Camden AR. Later he became a member of St. James Baptist Church in El Dorado, AR, Where he was one of the musicians. He was preceded in death by his parents Willie John and Willie Mae Atkins Sr., three sisters, Daisy Marie Rose, Diane Atkins, and Betty Atkins-Franklin. He is survived by 2 Daughters Tyeshia(Wilson) Udeochu, Ashley Walker, one sister, Patricia (Otis) Elder Furlow; three brothers, Willie John, Atkins Jr.,Rev. R.J. (Ruby) Atkins Sr., Rev. Arlin (Jackie) Carson, five grandchildren Glory Udeochu, Nneji Udeochu, Opie Udeochu, Za’Cameron Jackson, and Jacen Jackson; one godson, DeCourtni Hayes, and a host of Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday August 31, 2019 at 2:30pm at St. James Baptist Church. All viewing will be held at the church.
