Benny Carroll “Mickey” Sosebee, 75, husband of Patricia “ Penny” Butts Sosebee, of 104 Brentwood Drive, Seneca, SC, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019, at his home. A native of Seneca, SC, Mr. Sosebee was the son of the late Rube and Ora Lee Chastain Sosebee. He loved every aspect of sports, especially football, from being a former player to watching it on tv. Mr. Sosebee loved gardening and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Mr. Sosebee is survived by his daughter: Caroline Sosebee of Seneca, SC; brothers: Gene Sosebee of Seneca, SC and Donald Sosebee of Atlanta, GA; sisters: Margaret Shirley of Seneca, SC, Barbara Frady of Gastonia, NC and Sue Baldwin (Charles) of Seneca, SC; and two grandchildren: Navia Holden and Chance Holden. In addition to his parents, Mr. Sosebee was preceded in death by his brothers: Larry, Hill and Bill Sosebee; and sister: Hazel Brewer. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM- 12:00 PM, Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at Church at The Well, Seneca, SC. Flowers are accepted. The family is at their respective homes.
