Aubrey Jerrall Rudd, 76, of Waldo, passed away at his home Friday, August 9, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 7, 1943 to the late Marion Gaston (Pete) Rudd and Jessie Mae Foster Rudd. Jerrall’s passion in life was spending time with his family. Many memories were made hunting and fishing with his son, grandsons, and friends. He retired from Albemarle where he worked as a maintenance supervisor for many years. He was a member of First Baptist Church. Jerrall is survived by his wife Norma of 57 years; daughter Jerri (Glen) Lee of Waldo; son Robert (Amy) Rudd of Magnolia; grandsons Dusty (Lacey) Walker of Waldo, Adam (Kirsten Holden) Walker of Fayetteville, Gaston (Macy) Rudd of Haynesville, LA, Austin (Kaleigh) McAdams of Waldo; step grandchildren Kaleb Lee of Texarkana, TX, Karsen Lee of Fouke, Ellyott Hites of Destin, FL, Katie (Scott)Morehead of Magnolia; great grandchildren Aubrey Walker, Addilynn McAdams, and Savannah Walker; step great grandchildren Brody Morehead and Madelene Morehead; special cousin/sister Kay (Jerry) Barr of Magnolia; and sisters-in-law Carolyn Taylor and Delores Sprayberry, Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 12, at the First Baptist Church with Bro. Roger Dunlap and Bro. David Watkins officiating. Burial will follow at Barlow Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia. Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 11 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be his grandsons and special nephew Rusty Price.
