Mr. Arnold Paul Schrebe, age 92, passed away with his family by his side on Tuesday, August 27, 2019. He was born on March 5, 1927 to Paul and Kathryn (Kramer) Schrebe in Muskegon. Arnold proudly served his country during WWII while in the United State Navy. In June of 1948, he married the former LaWanda Gibbs and they spent 72 wonderful years together. He worked at Shaw Walker for 48 years before retiring in 1988. Arnold was apart of the Shaw Walker slow-pitch softball and bowling leagues and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Arnold and Wanda were members of Seventh Day Adventist Church. Arnold is survived by his wife, Wanda; children, Terry (Angie) Schrebe and Dave Schrebe; granddaughters, Dawn (Todd) Harman, Tami (Joe) Montney, Kerri (Bob) Pranger, Heather Schrebe and Jessi Schrebe; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his son, Grant “Gene” Schrebe; sisters, Anne (Ray) Garnaat and Louise (Frank) Reminder; and brother, Marvin (Norma) Schrebe. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 30 at 10AM at The Walburn Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., Muskegon, MI 49441, 231-759-8565.
