Anthony Edward Travagliante, 72, of Clyde, died at the Toledo Hospital on Monday, August 19, 2019. Mr. Travagliante was born in Cleveland on September 16, 1946 to the now deceased Anthony and Blandean (Gregg) Travagliante. He and his wife, Joyce, moved to Clyde in January 2019 from Homerville, Ohio, where Tony was the owner and operator of Quality Furniture Finishing. Tony enjoyed cards and working on cars. Mr. Travagliante was a proud Marine veteran of the Viet Nam war. On August 23, 1969, he married Joyce Hada. She, along with their son, Anthony D. (Emilee) Travagliante of Clyde survive. His grandson, Knoxlee survives as well. One half brother, Joseph Trude survives in Parma. Visitation will be on Friday, August 23, 2019 from 10:00 am at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 219 South Main St., Clyde until a graveside service at 12:15 pm at McPherson Cemetery, with the military rites provided by the Clyde VFW and American Legion. In lieu of flowers, please make donations, if desired, to the veteran’s organization of you choice.
