Annis “Ann”‘s Obituary Annis L. “Ann” Piper, age 88, died Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 5:30 AM at Lima Manor. She was born on August 17, 1930 in Hindman, Kentucky to the late Willis and Della (Cox) Conley. Ann married Waldo Oglesbee and he preceded her in death on April 1, 1960. She later married Paul Piper and he preceded her in death on April 3, 2004. Ann was a homemaker. She was a member of the Alger Assembly of God Church. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Art) Lease of Harrod; a daughter-in-law, Dana Oglesbee of Foraker; step children, Penny Bennett, Scott Piper, Mike Piper and Tony Piper; three grandchildren: Darren (Sunny) Lease of North Lewisburg, Jeff (Lynn) Lease of Findlay, and Kyle Oglesbee of Foraker; and five great grandchildren; numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Ann was preceded in death by a son, Larry Oglesbee; two brothers: Ishmael Conley and Arthur Conley; and a sister, Inez Gardner. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM on Monday, August 19, 2019 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger with Pastor Mark Andreasen officiating. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery, Kenton. Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 10:00 AM -12:00 PM on Monday, August 19, 2019 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Read More
