Aida E. (Lucret) Salvat, 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center with her loving family by her side. Born May 10, 1937 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Esteban and Vitalia (Carillo) Lucret. Aida enjoyed cooking, taking care of her grandchildren, and always putting a smile on everyone’s face. She always made sure everyone had to eat before leaving her house. Aida leaves 11 children Ismael Salvat, Carmen Maisonette, Nidia Ramos, Luz Lopez, Antonio Lopez, Esteban Lopez, Gerimeldo Lopez, Carmen Maisonette (Tita), Marisol Lopez, Eriberto Lopez, Rolando Lopez. She leaves 39 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild. Calling hours for Aida will be held Monday from 4-7pm at Kozikowski Funeral Home, 565 Front St., Chicopee, with a service at 6:30pm. Burial will be Tuesday at 10AM in Fairview Cemetery.
