Youssef’s Obituary Youssef Yacoub Atia, 81, of Philadelphia, PA departed to the Paradise of Joy on Friday, June 14, 2019 at his residence. He was the loving husband of Nawal Ibrahim for 50 years. Youssef was born in Cairo, Egypt to the late Yacoub Attia Dawoud and the late Annetta Tadros Awad. He was a self-employed Businessman. Youssef was a member of St. George Coptic Orthodox Church of Greater Philadelphia. He was a very hardworking man who enjoyed reading books. In addition to his wife, Youssef is survived by his son, Adel Y. Attia of Philadelphia, PA; his daughter, Anna Y. Attia of Philadelphia, PA; his three brothers and his one sister. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his one sister. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 10:00 am at St. George Coptic Orthodox Church of Greater Philadelphia, 411 DeKalb Street, Norristown, Pennsylvania 19401.
