Winifred Lorene Schrougham, 96, of Nashville, passed away at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Brown County Health and Living Community. Winifred was born December 7, 1922, in Brown County, Indiana, the daughter of Otha and Rosa Reeves Roberts. On September 30, 1966, she married Robert Lavonne Schrougham. Mrs. Schrougham retired from Cummins Engine Company after many years of service. She enjoyed gardening, hummingbirds and fishing in Florida. Survivors include her daughters, Rosalyn LaFlower of North Vernon, Beverly Hynes, Connie (Larry) Percifield, both of Nashville; brother, Otha Roberts, Jr., also of Nashville; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, Robert Wall; daughter, Donna Pritchard; granddaughter, Suzette Pritchard; 6 sisters and one brother. The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Rev. Dan Bawinkel officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
