William Henry Hughes April 17, 1934 – June 28, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card William Henry Hughes age 85 of Adairville, Kentucky passed away Friday, June 28, 2019 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green. He was born in Logan County, Kentucky on April 17, 1934 to the late John Henry and Hester Cassidy Hughes. He was a farmer and owner of Hughes Farm Machine Shop and a member of the Logan Mills Emanuel Apostolic Church. William is a Korean Air Force Veteran. He is preceded in death by his first wife Clara E. Hughes and his son William Michael Hughes. He is survived by his: Wife Vera Jean Hughes, a sister Johnnie Murphy of Bowling Green and four grandchildren Brianna Hughes, Hailey Hughes, Hunter Hughes and Cheyenna Lawrence. Funeral services for William Hughes will be conducted Monday, July 1, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel with Bro. Jr. England officiating and burial to follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Adairville. Visitation will begin Monday from 11:00 A.M. until funeral time at 2:00 P.M.
