Willene Davis Prescott, 91 of Newnan passed away Friday, June 28, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born October 23, 1927 in Carroll County, GA to the late Samuel A. Davis and Mattie Jones Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Prescott, Sr; siblings, Estell Webb, Ruth Taylor, Gladys Duncan, Durward Davis, Dorsey Davis, Billy Davis and Joyce Jiles. She retired from Coweta County School System and was a lifelong member of Sargent Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, William (Dianne) T. Prescott, Jr. and Marty (Patrece) M. Prescott; grandchildren, Jason (Danyelle) Prescott, Matthew (Star) Prescott and Conner Prescott; great-grandchildren, Mason and Serena Prescott; siblings, Kathleen Henderson, Rudene Daniel and Martha Wilburn. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.mckoon.com Graveside services will be held Monday, July 1, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Brian Self and Rev. Terry Calhoun officiating. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Memory of Mrs. Prescott to Sargent Baptist Church P.O. Box 189 Sargent, GA 30275.
