Wayne’s Obituary Wayne W. Albert, 88, of Dillsburg, passed away Wednesday morning, June 19, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 8, 1931 in Dillsburg, York County, PA, the son of the late Earl & Irene Fowhl Albert. Wayne was the former owner/mechanic of Wayne’s Amoco, of Dillsburg and after his retirement he managed Shillito’s Gas Station (off the Williams Grove Road), Dillsburg for over 20 years. He was a member of the Dillsburg Community Church (formerly Arnold’s United Methodist Church), Dillsburg. Wayne also enjoyed motorcycles and cars and more recently his golf cart and scooter. On most summer days, he was busy with his riding mowers. He loved and valued his friends and family. Wayne was survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Joyce R. Hopple Albert. His daughters: Julie A. Fisher and her husband Barry, of Lehighton, PA and Myrna J. Albert, of York Springs. His grandchildren: Amy Fisher and Michael Fisher. His great-granddaughters: Kailie Fisher and Angelyna Fisher and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Vernon Albert and his sister, Ethel Firestone. Services will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 11:00 am, in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut Street, Dillsburg, PA. Viewings will be held on Monday evening, June 24, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and again on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Dillsburg Cemetery – Mountain Road. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to his church, Dillsburg Community Church, 412 Mountain Road, Dillsburg, PA 17019. Read More
