Walter Terenik, 67, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 while recovering from open heart surgery at the VA Malcom Randall Hospital in Gainesville, FL. He leaves behind his wife of 27yrs., Ginger Terenik, FL; his brothers, Victor Terenik, FL, Nicholas Terenik, FL and Michael Terenik, NJ; his sisters Zinna Terenik, FL and Irene Szynal, NJ. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dimitri and Sophia (Lazarovich) Terenik and his half- brother, Urie. Walter moved to Florida about forty years ago from New Jersey. He was a Mechanical Engineer who could build just about anything he put his mind to. He was the former owner of L&W Collision Towing and Recovery, which started in Leesburg. He was a member of the P.W.O.F. Towing association and was a United States Air Force Veteran. Walter had a big heart who helped many people and he would do anything to help someone in any way he can. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten. He has always been the “Rock” of the family. We Love you Walter and were going to miss you until we meet again. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 1:30 PM in the funeral home.
