Virginia Lee Stokes, age 94, passed away at 10:03pm June 18th, 2019 surrounded by her family at home in Eldorado, IL. Born on March 12th, 1925 in Galatia, IL to Amon and Ethel (Smith) Jones. She married Hillis Stokes on February 14th, 1946. Virginia worked in many capacities during a variety of careers and retired from Southeastern Illinois College as secretary to the dean of adult education.
