Timothy A. Cooke, 53, of Hamilton, NJ, passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, June 23, 2019. Born in Princeton, NJ, he was a lifelong area resident having grown up in the Cranbury and East Windsor areas. He was a graduate of Hightstown High School Class of 1983 and later graduated from Moravian College Class of 1987. For the last thirty years, he worked for Prudential Life Insurance Company as an Insurance Agent. He was a fitness enthusiast and an avid Yankees fan. Tim’s happiest times were spent at his son’s sporting events and being with his family, friends and his dog, Louie. He enjoyed trips to his family cottage in Canada. Predeceased by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Anne McElhinney; he is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Heather (McElhinney) Cooke; his son, Connor Cooke; his parents, Donald B. and Judith (Tantum) Cooke; his siblings, Barry Cooke and his wife, Donna, and Connie Cooke Blandford and her husband, Charles; his nieces and nephews, Ashley, Jenna, Caroline, Virginia, Elissa Jane, Natalie, David, Suzanne and Brittany. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 28, 2019, at 9:30 a.m., at St. Raphael-Holy Angels Parish, St. Raphael RC Church, 3500 S. Broad Street, Trenton, NJ. Interment will follow at Westminster Cemetery in Cranbury, NJ. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2019, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton, NJ 08690. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Timothy’s memory to Connor’s College Fund. Please make checks payable to Heather Cooke, 850 Bear Tavern Road, Suite 105, Ewing, NJ 08628.
