Thomas’ Obituary Thomas B. Tyrrel, 86, passed away early Thursday morning, June 27, 2019, while under hospice care at Grace Park, located in Stroudsburg PA. Thomas was a resident of Grace Park since late 2015. Born December 31, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Celia (Brush) Tyrrel. Thomas was a Korean War veteran, having served 16 years in the US Navy. After his time served with the US Navy, he went to work for the family printing business, Benj. H. Tyrrel Printing. Eventually, Tom went on to own and operate this business until 2004. B.H.Tyrrel Printing Company was located on Greenwich Street in New York, NY.. B.H.T. was founded in 1867. Tom joined forces with the Doremous FP in 2004 and continued his career in deal management and printing till retirement in 2015. Surviving are two daughters, Lynn Tyrrel Byrne and husband Jerry of Cresco PA., Susan Brush Tyrrel of Tempe AZ; six grandchildren, Michael Tyrrel Byrne, his wife Elisa True Byrne, Thomas Daniel Byrne, his girlfriend Katie Fiorentino, Truman Tyrrel Hale, Whitney Benjamin Tyrrel Hale, Thomas Ambrose Tyrrel and Danielle Ambrose Tyrrel; and three great-grandchildren, Grant True Byrne, Hudson True Byrne, and Ariana Rose Darmento. He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas G. Tyrrel. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 5th between 2:00 and 4:00PM at Grace Park, 1170 West Main Street, Stroudsburg. Burial will be private and take place at Crum Elbow Cemetery in Hyde Park, NY. Read More
