Thomas’ Obituary LASON, Thomas Howard – of Davison, age 77, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2019 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 11 AM – 1 PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association. Thomas was born in Grand Blanc, MI on May 8, 1942, son of the late Howard and Ida (Wood) Lason. He married Christine Munson on May 24, 1969 at First Baptist Church of Davison. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1963 – 1967. Thomas was a “jack of all trades” and was a “tinkerer extraordinaire”. He worked for A & S Supply in Flint as a plumber and retired in 2007. Thomas is survived by his wife, Christine; children, Steven Howard (Veneisa) Lason of West Branch, Matthew Thomas Lason of Waterford; grandson, Douglas Charles Lason of Freeland; two great-grandchildren, Zoey and Corey; sisters, Darlene Shockley and Vada Lason; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his infant brother, Howard Grant Lason, Jr.; brothers; Leonard Lason, George Lason, Robert Lason; sister, Margaret “Mickey” Payne.
