Teresa’s Obituary Teresa Jane (Hambrick) Hamblen, age 63, of Waverly, Missouri went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, with her family by her side. Teresa was born one of four children to Donald and Betty (Jordan) Hambrick in Wakenda, Missouri. Teresa attended Wakenda School and graduated from the Carrollton High School in 1974. On June 11, 1976, Teresa married Harold (Buck) Hamblen in Carrollton, Missouri. To this union, they were blessed with three children, Tara, Chad, and Scott. Teresa worked as a beautician, Peter’s Orchard for 20+ years and a caregiver for the disabled. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing with her grandchildren, cooking, and vegetable gardening. She was well known for making divine apple pies! Teresa’s family will miss her presence, sweet smile, and bubbly personality. She was a Methodist by faith and a member of the Girl Scouts when she was a little girl. Teresa is survived by Tara Fain and husband Jason, of Waverly, MO, Chad Hamblen and wife Christine, of Waverly, MO, Scott Hamblen and wife Stacey, of Dover, MO; significant other, Ron Dankenbring; nephew, Dusty Hambrick of Carrollton, MO, niece, Kelsey Fogle and husband Duston, of Warrensburg, MO; two grandchildren, Kylie and Lilly Fain of Waverly, MO. Teresa was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Buck; two brothers, Donnie and Kevin and one sister in infancy. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 27, 2019, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Waverly Baptist Church in Waverly, MO. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 28, 2019, starting at 11:00 a.m. at Waverly Baptist Church with Pastor Jerry Curry officiating. Teresa will be laid to rest at Grandpass Community Cemetery in Grandpass, Missouri. The family suggests contributions be made to Family Choice c/o Scott Hamblen in memory of Teresa.
