In loving memory of Tajmiere Ontwaine Nixon Sr. affectionately known to some as “Ty Nitty” was born on April 15, 1981 in Easton Maryland. He departed this life on June 9,2019 in Oxford Maryland. He was 38 years old. Ty was the son of Edward Lee Roberts and the late Gladys Mae Nixon with the help of James Parker, who he raised as his very own son. Ty was educated in Talbot County Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1999. He worked various jobs through out his life time. Ty’s last job was at Crab Claw in St. Michaels. He had a passion for cooking, and you could not tell him he was not a master at it. One must say he made the best sweet potato pie and at Thanksgiving you could expect him to have a couple. In his spare time he loved to go fishing, whether he caught anything or not. He loved being on the water it was so peaceful there. He also loved spending time with his children when he could, being with family and close friends. Ty leaves to cherish fond memories to his children: Tajmiere Jr, Tymeah,Tahjiere,Jahmiere, and Jordan Nixon all of Easton, Ja’yonna and Jaylen Nixon of Trappe, and his baby girl, Niylah Mae Nixon of McDaniel; his father, Edward Roberts Sr.; a step father, James Parker; 2 sisters: JaToyai Nixon of Easton, and Rytesha Carmen (Quincy) Laurel Md; 2 brothers: Rodney Roberts (Katrice), Baltimore and Edward Roberts Jr (Takelia) of Easton; 3 aunts: Janet Jiles (Clifford) of Hurlock, Florence Perron (Don) of Cambridge and Eunice Roberts of Trappe; 2 uncles: Albert Nixon of Seattle Washington and Spencer Nixon of Cambridge; a godmother who was like his second mother, Rosalind Wilson (Tyrone) and godfather, Bruce Camper of Cambridge; 3 godbrothers: Craig Williams, Tyron Wilson and Tyrone Wilson Jr.; special nephew, Zaiden Parker of Easton; and a special companion, Shandi Schultz; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, great aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends. In addition to his mother, Gladys Mae Nixon, Ty was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gladys Mae Nixon Hollis, Spencer Nixon Sr.,Vivian Roberts and Robert Harris; a special aunt, Debbie Parker Benson and uncle, Royce Roberts.
