Steven Anthony Clifton, born on August 23, 2003 in Independence MO. Passed June 16, 2019 in Kansas City MO. His celebration of life will be on Saturday June 29, 2019 1pm -5pm @ Community of Christ 3371Blue Ridge Blvd Independence, MO 64052 He is survived by his mother Jacklyn Clifton, father Michael Smith, sister Selena Clifton, brother Seth Smith, nephew Jay Kenyon, maternal grandparents, paternal grandparents, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. At the young age of three, Steven wanted to be Spiderman when he grew up. He absolutely idolized him. Once he got a little older he wanted to be a fireman. Then around the age of thirteen he had a fond interest in someday opening his own animal rescue. At fourteen years old he became really interested in photography, and was really good at it too. Once again, he had a new career goal and was going to be a photographer. Steven loved his family immensely, but most of all he loved being a brother and an uncle. Anyone who knew him knew not to mess with his loved ones. He had no shame in letting anyone know what he thought or felt, and he was sure to always have the last word. Steven took every opportunity to seize life. He was a young man with no fear. If you dared him to do something, he was without a doubt going to do it. If you told him he couldn’t do something, he would do everything in his power to prove you wrong. He was strong willed and very head strong. This might have gotten him into trouble a few times . Steven was into gymnastics and parkour. If he saw the opportunity to do a flip off of something, he took it. This could be off the porch, car, roof top, tree, even a utility box on the side of the road. This was just the kind of person Steven was, anyway he could make you laugh, smile, or completely terrify you, he would take it. He was also very artistic and loved to sing. The first song he ever sang was “big green tractor.” Steven loved to cook, that doesn’t necessarily mean he knew how to, haha. He would go in the kitchen, look for some pasta or rice, pull out a couple different seasonings, add some meat and see what he could come. I’m Stevens little brother. don’t laugh whenever someone else dies. Because if you think about it the people that love him loves him so much.my full name is Seth Raymond Smith.and our nephew barely remembers him because he was around him only whenever he was a baby now Jay is 5 / 6 . everyone in the family misses him so much we can’t stop thinking about him his friend family members and everyone that knew him that cared about him love him so much and misses him .I know 10 years old I turn 11 in October 11th my birthday is 10/11/10
