Steve Parker was born on July 28, 1959 to Melvin and Ozelle Mills Parker, and passed from this earth on June 24, 2019. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and lived with his wife of 9 years, Kelli Parker. He was a hard working employee of Huntsville Utilities for 28 dedicated years. He enjoyed his job and was well liked and respected by his co-workers. Steve had a great sense of humor and loved to see people laugh with his “funny jokes”. Steve is preceded in death by his father, Melvin Parker, his mother Ozell Mills Parker, his brother Bobby Parker and his sister, Janet. He is survived by his wife, Kelli Parker of hazel Green, his son, Matthew (Martha) Parker of Huntsville, his daughter Katie (Austin) Worley of Huntsville. Visitation for Mr. Parker will be Friday evening from 5-8 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday beginning at 11 AM with Rev. Lon Ostrzycki officiating. Burial to follow at Locust Grove Cemetery after the service. Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
