Stanley “Curtis” Wellinghoff, 65, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Pratt Regional Medical Center. He was born January 20, 1954 in Norman, Oklahoma to John Henry and Lovica (Cox) Wellinghoff. On July 28, 1973, he married Zanna Marie (Hamblin) Wellinghoff in Hugoton. She survives. Curtis began working for the City of Hugoton in 1973. He loved his job and all the people that he worked with. He retired in 1999 after having a stroke. While living in Hugoton they attended the First Christian Church. In 2017 they moved to Pratt and attended Reach Church. He loved fishing, camping, visiting with people, his dogs and going to the Casino on occasion. He is survived by his wife, Zanna of Pratt; mother, Lovica (Billy Joe) Davison of Dallas, Texas; brothers, John (Dorothy) Wellinghoff of Woodward, Oklahoma and Roger (Judy) Wellinghoff of Park City; sisters, Lynette (David) Littleton of Dallas, Texas and Nina Wright of Orlando, Florida; good friend, Phil (Jo) Thompson of Hugoton; mother in-law, Marjorie Hamblin of Pratt; and sisters in-law, Peggy and Jeanie Hamblin. He was preceded in death by his father, John Wellinghoff; son, Preston Wellinghoff; and father in-law, Russ Hamblin. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. Inurnment will be at the Hugoton Cemetery, Hugoton. Memorials may be made to Curtis Wellinghoff Memorial Fund in care of Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt.
