Shirley Ann Ellison, age 83 of Helen, GA; formerly of Cottage Grove, TN; died Friday, June 21, 2019. Mrs. Ellison was born November 17, 1935 in Trezevant, Tennessee to the late Ewell and Mary Hite Fuqua. Shirley resided at Unicoi Springs Campground, where she was loved by the community and she attended Bethel Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, John Roberts of Helen GA; daughter, Caron Ellison (Jerry) Dalton of Coldwater, Miss; son, Michael Stanton (Jan) Ellison of Overton, NV; daughter, Genia Ellison (Ed) Kenschaft of Annadale, VA ; son William (Kristi) Ellison of Spring Hill, TN; step daughters, Teresa Roberts (Ricky) Thompson; Cynthia “Cindy” Roberts; step son, Mike (Sloan) Roberts; sister, Janice (Otis) Burk of Puryear, TN; brother, Jerry Fuqua of Paris, TN; grandchildren, Heidi Deanyl Eddelman, Stanton James (Shona) Bradford, Nathaniel Murrell Ellison, Knox William Ellison, Beck Evan Ellison, Brittany Thompson (Alex) Prather, Boone Roberts, Coralie Roberts; great grandchildren, Kyra, Riley, Piper and Dallin. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Murell Ellison, son, Jeffery Murrell Ellison, sisters, Nomel Cary, Latresha Gonzales, brothers, William Fuqua, David Fuqua. Visitation will be Friday June 28, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service to be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m. in Ledon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with Larry Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery in Paris, TN.
