Sheldon Scott Dallas, 60, of Dillonvale, OH, died June 4th, 2019 at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was born January 7, 1959, in Albany, NY, a son of the late Fred Kurtz and Phyllis (Vaillancourt) Kurtz. Sheldon was a member of St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church, was a former employee of the Dillonvale street department, and was a member of the Dillonvale Fire Department Station #37, and was a huge Cleveland Browns fan. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his number one dog, “Tippy.” In addition to his mother, Phyllis Kurtz, Sheldon is survived by his sisters, Lorraine (JR) Dallas of Dillonvale, Lori (Tom) Brown of Dillonvale, Nadine (Barry) Horton of Richmond, VA; his fur-babies, “Meka”, “Shyla”, and “Goldie”; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial visitation will be held Sunday, June 9, from 12pm until time of service at 5pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St., Dillonvale, OH. Funeral services will be co-celebrated by Pastor James Hoff and Msgr. John Kolesar.. Private interment at the convenience of the family. To offer online condolences visit wilsonfuneralhomes.com.
