Sharon’s Obituary Sharon Preece Hale, 56, of Hampstead, NC, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2019, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington, NC. She was born in Miami Beach, FL, on September 21, 1962, daughter of Les Preece, Sr. and Patricia Preece of Raleigh, NC. Sharon was the loving wife of 37 years to Glenn Hale. She was the loving mother of her son, Jonathon Hale. Sharon was a woman who adored her family and friends, her daughter-in-law, Ashley Hale “daughter-in-love”, and her granddaughter, Mackenzie Hale “Baby Girl”, who was the sparkle and apple of her eye. Also surviving is her brother, Les Preece, Jr. Sharon’s love and devotion was not just limited to her family. She touched each life with the love of Christ and a tender heart. Her goal was to spread joy, love, and the message of our Lord wherever she went. A Celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at 11:00 AM Sunday, June 9, 2019, at Andrews Hampstead Chapel with John Preece and Jimmy Maynard presiding. Read More
