Samuel Junior Richards, 73, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, June 17, 2019 with family by his side. Sam was born in Hickory, NC to the late Samuel and Mattie Beal Richards on August 11, 1945. He was a graduate of Hickory High and had worked at Lane Furniture as an upholsterer for 45 years, before retiring in 2008.
