Samantha Marie Knapp, 33 Samantha Marie Knapp 33, passed away at her home in Charlevoix, MI on June 11, 2019. Samantha, was born to Mark Knapp and Connie Frisbey, July 30, 1985 “on her mother’s birthday” in Petoskey, MI. Samantha, was a miracle child that wasn’t supposed to live past ten years of age. When she was 7 months old, she had Complications of the Croup that left her quadriplegic, blind, and with a Heart of Gold. She knew compassion, love, and when she wasn’t happy everyone knew it. She had her way of communicating with those she really loved by giving kisses, laughing, smiling, or just listening. She loved country music, especially “Conway Twitty”. She loved her bath time, and if you were late, she let you know about it! Sometimes, she would stay up all night and have a great time just laughing, and talking “you never knew what she was talking about, but I’m sure it was to keep her parents up all night”! Anyone who met this amazing young lady fell in love with her instantly. Samantha, was a Fighter and she Fought to Live, now she is an Angel! Samantha, is survived by her mother Connie Frisbey of Charlevoix, MI, father Mark Knapp & Anne Pardee of Charlevoix, MI, brother Benjamin Knapp and Tiffany Anderson of Florida, brother Michael Knapp of Charlevoix, grandparents Paul & Patricia Frisbey, grandparents Bill & Linda Knapp of Petoskey, many Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins. Samantha is preceded in death by her grandparents Valerie & John Holloway, niece BretRaya Blanchard-Knapp, cousin Lancer Turbin, cousin Emily Frisbey. We are honoring Samantha’s life at 11 a.m. June 22, 2019 at the Church of the Nazarene in Charlevoix. Following service luncheon will be at the Charlevoix Elks Lodge.
