Roy Cagle, age 92, of Holly Springs, GA passed away Thursday, June 06, 2019 at Roselane Nursing and Rehabilitation. Roy was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in the Clayton Community. He was raised in the Sharptop Community of North Cherokee County. Roy worked at Lockheed until he retired in 1985. He was a Veteran of WWII and the Korean War. Roy had many family members and friends through life whom his family would like to thank for their support and love. Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 PM, on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Grant Wade, and Rev. Neal McKenzie officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery with Military Honors. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, June 10, 2019, and from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at South Canton Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by, Parents: Steve and Lestie Cagle, Wife: Bonnie Cagle, Daughter: Linda Cagle Survivors include: Son – Joe (Susan) Cagle Son – Mike (Lynn) Cagle Daughter – April Cagle Grandchildren: Jessica Cagle, Brittany Simpson, Brandon Cagle, Katie Wheeler, Brady, Stephen, Marcus and Clinton Flowers Great Grandchildren: Kelsey Black, Wyatt Kidd and Luke Flowers Several Nieces and Nephews of which one Nephew, Marvin Taylor of Colorado, held a special place in his heart.
