A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Rosalee Jeanette Cheatham-Wood of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 will be held on Saturday, June 22nd, 11:00 a.m. at The Rock Church of God by Faith,4323 E. Henry Ave., Pastor, Ruling Elder James E. Williams, officiating. The interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Rosalee Jeanette Cheatham-Wood was born June 24, 1943 in Tampa, Florida to Reuben and Henrietta Mitchell. She attended Member of Kingdom of Church of God where she received her Missionary Certificate, Pentecostal Church of God of Jesus Christ where she also received her Ministry diploma in her earlier years. She was a member of First-Born Church of the Living God. Rosalee had a passion for her Bible and could quote any scripture word, she loved the Lord. She enjoyed cooking and was delighted in having family come visit. She was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her husband, James Wood; children, Gregory Mitchell (Sharon), Charles Cheatham, Glenda Williams (Leon) and Reginald Cheatham; 9 grandchildren; brothers, Joseph Mitchell and Henry Lee Campbell; host of loving relatives and close friends that will miss her. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, June 21st from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
