Ronnie Gene Dodson of Irving, Texas December 28, 1947 – June 11, 2019 Ronnie Gene Dodson, 71, a resident of Euless for 50 years, died on Tuesday, June 11, 2019. Ronnie was born in Greenville, Texas on December 28, 1947 to the late Clinton Cleveland and Lottie Francine (York) Dodson. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Joe Dodson. He is survived by: sister, Lucille O. Beaty of Irving, brother, Clinton Douglas Dodson of Burleson and sister, Debbie Mayes and husband Tim of Euless as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Although Ronnie never had children of his own, he loved his nieces and nephews as if they were his own children. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Donnelly’s Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway, Irving, Texas 75062. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2019 in the Chapel of Donnelly’s Colonial Funeral Home. Pastor James Bonfoey will officiate. Burial at 1:00 p.m. at Hooker Ridge Cemetery in Lone Oak, Texas.
