RONALD’s Obituary Ronald John Petykowski, 83 years old of Antioch, IL, passed away Monday, June 17, 2019 at Rainbow Hospice Care, Johnson Creek, WI. He was born January 4, 1936 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late John and Mary (nèe Budzynski) Petykowski. On August 10, 1957, Ronald married Lois Jackson in Chicago, and they had been Antioch residents for the past 30 years. Ronald was a union carpenter for 45 years. Ronald is survived by his wife of over 61 years, Lois; their children, Michael, Thomas, Gary, Ronald, Jr., David (Lori), Christopher (Katy); their four grandchildren, Kirstin (Nicholas) Lubkeman, Sam Petykowski, Sophia Petykowski, and Chris Gotti; his brother, Joseph (Barbara) and sister-in-law, Judy Petykowski; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert “Bob” and his sister, Joan (Robert) Bambenek. Funeral Services 9:15 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2019 from the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main St. Antioch, IL 60002 to St. Peter Catholic Church, 557 Lake St. Antioch, IL 60002. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Interment will immediately follow in Hillside East Cemetery, Antioch, IL. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
