The son of RC Towery and Esther Mae (Perot) Towery, he was born July 20, 1951, in Monroe, Louisiana. Ronald married Virginia Ann “Gi Gi” Hightower on December 9, 1974 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. He worked for Smith Fire Suppression for many years and was a member of the Sprinkler Fitters Local Union 669. He was Catholic in faith. Ron enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting, and playing golf. He loved watching sports, especially OU and OSU, the Dallas Cowboys, and Nascar. He was preceded in death by his parents; three grandchildren, Christian Fife, Destiny-Li Fife, and Keagan Yancey Fife; and one brother, Gary Towery. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Gi Gi Towery, of Newcastle; two daughters, Veronica Towery Jackson and her husband, Craig, of Oklahoma City and Crystal Fife and her husband, Paul, of Ontario, Canada; four grandchildren, Sebastian Fife, Analiese Fife, Kallista Fife, and Phoenix Fife; and many other loved ones and friends. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, June 21, 2019, in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
