Roland Anthony Richard May 28, 1933 – June 29, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Gueydan—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 1, 2019 at Vincent Funeral Home – Gueydan honoring the life of Roland Anthony Richard, 86, who died Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Gueydan Memorial Guest Home. He will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Assistant Pastor Mickey Istre officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Tyson Laseter, Blake Richard, Seth Guidry, Matt Guidry, Glenn Price, and Charles Buck. He is survived by his wife, Juanette Richard of Gueydan; two sons, Roland A. Richard, Jr. and his wife, Sandy of Gueydan and Marcus S. Richard and his wife, Missy of Kaplan; three daughters, Bess M. Amy of Gueydan, Carolyn A. Breaux and her husband, John of Breaux Bridge, and Charlotte K. Stutes and her fiancé, Charles Buck of Gueydan; ten grandchildren, Dawn Laseter, Amy Cooper, Bryon LeJeune, Jr., Max Amy, Blake Richard, Shana Price, Harold Stutes, Jr., Katie Guidry, Victoria Guidry, and Autumn Martin; six great grandchildren; and one brother, Allen Richard and his wife, Theresa of Gueydan. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sarah C. Richard; his granddaughter, Jamie Kibodeaux; two brothers, Querie Richard and Euland Richard; and two sisters, Anna Mae Abshire and Jane Richard. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home – Gueydan, 311 Fourth St., on Sunday, June 30, 2019 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM, with a rosary at 6 PM; Monday, July 1, 2019 from 8:00 AM until the time of the services at 10:00 AM.
