Roger’s Obituary ROGER LEE YOUNG, 88, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 5:04 am, Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Randolph County Care Center, Sparta, Illinois He was born to the late Philip A. and Teresa M. (nee Schuline) Young on March 30, 1931. He married Romana Klein on October 21, 1953 in Chester, Illinois. Roger Lee was the owner of several businesses and was a car salesman. He was life member of the following; Chester American Legion Post #487, V.F.W. Post #3553, Chester Knights of Columbus #3790, Sparta Knights of Columbus #6577 He was an Illinois Army National Guard Veteran, serving in the Korean War. Survivors: Wife: Romana Young Chester, IL 2 Sons: Alan (Sharon) Young Sparta, IL John (Irene) Young Iowa City, IA 1 Daughter: May Sue (Robin) Monforton Dayton, OH 1 Brother: Carl Young Chester, IL 6 Grandchildren 3 Great -Grandchildren and fourth great grandchild due in July 1 Brother-in-law Delbert Klein Chester, IL 2 Sisters-in-law Mary Ann (Jim) Wilson Desoto, MO Nancy White Springfield, IL Many Nieces, Nephews and friends. Preceded in death by: Parents, 1 Son – Paul Thomas Young, 2 Sisters-in-law-Sharon Young and Betty Klein, 2 Brothers-in-law – Thomas Klein and George Marvin White His wishes were to be cremated.
