Robert “Bart” Simpson, 64, of Rulo, NE, passed away June 20, 2019 at Rulo. He was born May 27, 1955 at Falls City, NE, to Robert M. and Bev (Coonce) Simpson. He married Kathy Hoy in 1975 at Falls City and they were later divorced. He then married Starrleen Stones on April 1, 1988 at Hiland, KS. She passed away December 10, 2009. Robert was raised at Rulo and graduated Falls City High School in 1973. He then started working for the BNSF rail road as a welder and grinder and was forced to retire due to this health. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion at Falls City. Robert is survived by his daughter, Kelly Simpson and her partner Donnie Baxter of Falls City, Jeffrey and his wife Missy of Lansing, KS, Matthew and his wife Beth of Easton, KS, Jason Richardson and his wife Kristy of Bern, KS, brothers, Jerry and his wife Vickey of Claremore, OK, Ron Kelley and his wife Mary of Falls City, sisters, Tammy Roberts and Sue Simpson both of Rulo, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Austin Simpson. Mr. Simpson has been cremated and services will be held at a later date.
