Mr. Ricky Wyers age 67 of Fayette, passed away Monday, June 10, 2019 at Fayette Long Term Care. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in West Alabama Memorial Gardens in Gu-Win. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife; Brenda Wyers of Winfield, one son; Josh Wyers of Winfield, three daughters; Cassie Wyers Locke of Tuscaloosa, Kristy Wyers Graham of Fayette, and Carrie Wyers Miller (Christopher) of Clesea, one sister; Shirley Britnell of Fayette, and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; Vester and Evelyn Brasher Wyers, sister; Nell Tyner, brothers-in-law; Rob Tyner, IJ Britnell, and father and mother-in-law; Hollis Ray and Nita Perry. Mr. Wyers grew up in Bankston and is a graduate of Berry High School. He was a long time employee of OK Tires, Helig-Meyers, and Walmart. He was a die-hard Alabama and Atlanta Braves fan. He loved his family, westerns, and sports of all kinds. Honorary pallbearers are; Fayette Long Term Care, Darrell Britnell, and Tom Simpson.
