Rick Day, age 51, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away suddenly Friday morning, June 21st, 2019. Funeral services will be 12 noon Tuesday June 25th at Gateway Fellowship with Pastor Larry Hasemeyer officiating. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg, Ohio. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio and from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Tuesday at the church. Rick was born January 4th, 1968 in Lodi, Ohio and was the son of Emerson and Eleanor (Weddle) Day. On April 9th, 1988 he married Lori Hershberger and she survives. Rick worked for Dean’s Backflow of Loudonville. He enjoyed his job and appreciated his boss, Kevin. Rick was a member of Gateway Fellowship Church. He was a wonderful husband, father and “pap” to his grandson “Pickle”. Rick was an avid hunter. Him and his wife loved riding on their Harley. He enjoyed spending his free time in Monroe County Ohio. Surviving in addition to his wife, Lori are their two children and their spouses; son, Craig (Brittany) Day of Mount Vernon, Ohio and daughter, Stephanie (Cory) Baker of Killbuck, Ohio; his grandson, Cole Baker; his mother, Eleanor Day of Millersburg, Ohio; three siblings, Randy (Deb) Day of Glenmont, Ohio, Sandy (Frank) Baker of Killbuck, Ohio and Pam Day of Millersburg, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Emerson Day.
